my fairytale fallacy

amidst conversations
1 min readJul 11, 2021

ive made you a golden story, adorned in the finest fabric, laced with the most brilliant ribbons, wrapped with supremely delicate hands

my mind plays reruns of your shining smile and glisteningly handsome eyes in scenes that pass in front of me like views out of the train window in paradise

in my sleep, my hands comb through your luscious silky brown hair, head laying on your warm chest, hands rubbing your soft belly — i feel your tender, wet kisses on my forehead

i miss you, i so badly want to be close to you. i want to see you, i want to be seen by you. i plead to be seen by you.

cant eat, dont want to sleep, youve become a fairytale fallacy i cant escape, drink you up like poison koolaid, i cant get enough of you

but it was always that, i could never get enough of you
